Krach is an AI tool that makes voice playable like a synthesizer. It is able to change its speed and pitch, glitch its enunciation and even alter intonation and emotional resonance.

Anarchic Artificial Intelligence (AAI) was the initial project from which krach emerged.

Why the term “krach”? Inspired by a quote from Alexander Hacke, Einstürzende Neubauten, about the term “Krach” in January 2016: “For me, Krach is the sum of all possibilities, of all frequencies. Just as white noise contains all frequencies, just as white light contains all colors, Krach contains all possible melodies, all possible harmonies.”

Landalive – Lost Incarnations, AI Voices & An Angel is a spatial audio short film about a world in which memories don't exist. The protagonists are part of an entire ship's crew that tries to escape the ensnarement of that planet; Yet it allures them over and over again. Eventually, the everlasting artificial neural network neuron Sir Neuron 1068 guides them into a space where all memories come back.

Synthetic Pulsar

Synthetic Pulsar by Marcin Pietruszewski probes the synthetic potential of the pulsar as an integrative object functioning across and within disciplines of astrophysics, technology of sound, and computational speech design.

Silver Sky is a glittering and evocative song with a twist. Set in a feral city, it's about light pollution, and features sparkling synths, crystals and AI voices. Krach was trained on Kat’s voice, giving the Ferals an otherworldly ‘AI Kat’, acting alternately as instigator and truth-teller.

Released by UK label Reckless Yes, it’s the first single from the band’s upcoming album Truth Is The New Gold.
